excited for our move!!!

The other day as I walked up to the Herzog Campus I had a moment of..."wowsers"...as Inspector Gadget would say!  We are SO blessed to be living in such a wonderful area of Texas, and arriving in the mornings at such a beautiful school!  I feel truly blessed to be a part of Heritage!  I know that some of you lower school mommies and daddies haven't gotten to see the Herzog Campus and I just wanted to give y'all a little sneak peek at the wonderful campus we will all be a part of after Christmas:)  Wowsers!!!

second grade

Wowsers!!!  Second grade has been doing wonderfully on some really challenging stuff!  While we wait a little bit to get back into our papier mache birds we have been creating our own versions of Starry Night for an oil pastel study and look into the Impressionists.  We have also started making watercolor pictures of Joseph and his amazing "technicolor" coat!!  Joseph and his coat not only provides a great opportunity to read the story of Joseph and his brothers and teach a bit of patience and love as well as the study of "detail" watercolor technique which will be super helpful for their nature studies in their classes:)  Good work 2nd grade!!

first grade

Pumpkins galore!  Things have been going wonderfully in 1st grade too!  We have finished our awesome insects...these were pretty advanced for 1st grade and I am so proud of them!!  We are now working on repousse (metal work). Good job 1st grade!!!

kindergarten

We have been having a BLAST in Kindergarten!  We have already done so many awesome projects!  We finished our painted buntings, still life pieces, marc chagall inspired person playing an instrument, and have begun working on our fall trees:)  Here are some pictures!  Good work kinder!
